About our Company's History

We would like to welcome all of you to our company, Lavendar Cove. Our company's main passion is for Tea. We have been established for 12 years, our first encounter to create this wonderful company was back in 1998.

September 2010 - The addition of our Lavendar Cove Spa Line and Spice Line will be soon available.

April 2010 - We began our own Private Label of our Lavendar Cove Blends and are continuing through the rest of this year with our own Teas.

February 2010 -- A new line up of Betmar Hats are coming in for April 2010. This is our second year to be the Exclusive Distributor for Betmar Hats of New York.

December 2009, we have brought in a High End Cocoa.

In November 2009, we sold our products at many of the markets in Calgary.

In June 2009 to August 2009 - We attended the Hillhurst Sunnyside Farmer's Market. We displayed a wide variety of our products for sale, plus sampling was also available.

In March 2009, we have become the Exclusive Distributor for Calgary for the wonderful Betmar Hats.

In January 2009 - We have just established our other company, Magenta Tours. Come and enjoy travel and private tours in the beautiful island of Jamaica.

2009 --- Our Head Office for our Food Warehouse resides in the N.E., part of Calgary.

November 2007 ---- Tradeshow --- We displayed and sold our products at the Metro Asia Showcase, in Calgary.

In 2004 to 2006, we re-established our focus back into our Tea Company. We expanded our market to include several new product lines.

In 2001 to 2003, we ventured out into the Floral Industry and purchased one of the oldest prominent Floral shop's in Calgary.

In 2001, our first kiosk (retail) location was in Mount Royal Village, in Calgary.

Also in 2000, we established our Distributorship for Canada with Genie's Tea from India.

In 1999, we established our Distributorship for Canada with an Australian Coffee and Tea Exporter.

In 1998 to 1999, we established a Distributorship with Leaves Pure Teas to market their tea selections in the Canadian market.

1998 to now --- We moved from this location and have since resided at our current business address only at the Beddington Towne Centre, in Calgary, Alberta.

Since this time we have grown our business to include Wholesale pricing. We import products from all around the world. We have developed several business contacts and Distributorships with a selected variety of companies throughout the world.

About the Owner - - As a owner I get to see first hand the ideas, creations of advertising, marketing and knowledge in place with each of the Newsletters that are compiled. A fair amount of research is put into the information that I have compiled for my Newsletters and information sent out.

First hand knowledge comes from my background. The creative side as an artist, a floral designer and the knowledge about herbs, teas, coffees, plus plants, comes from the horticultural experience.

The owners experience extends with the Beverage Industry and Distribution sector, also by adding 8 years of medical surgical supplies; with experience as a certified Sterile Processor (now Surgical Processing Technician), in the medical field. Also with 20 years experience in the business industry, a combined 6 years experience as a owner and Floral Designer. Several years in the Horticultural Industry in sales with perinneals, herbs, annuals, trees and plant supplies.

We continue to grow with our contacts that we have established with two overseas Tea Estate owners. By establishing these relationships we are private labelling our own Tea Brand, in 2010.

Products - - We strive for the excellent quality, only carry the best product lines. Our coffees and teas are tested prior to our commitment to purchase these products that are available in our catalogue.

Research - - We continue to research for new products, we taste test all our consumable products, plus we also receive product knowledge from all our suppliers.
